We are deeply saddened to share that our good friend and neighbor, Tom Repichowski, passed away on Friday, October 3rd, at the age of 80.
Tom was a respected former CSEA Association President and a valued member of our community for many years. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and constant willingness to help anyone in need.
Tom and his wife, Ruth Repichowski, bought their lake side lot in 1981, then built half of their house shortly after. He retired from Dow Chemical in Midland in 1995 and moved to Spinnaker Ln full time to quickly becoming beloved members of our neighborhood.
An avid gardener and devoted outdoorsman, Tom took great pride in growing his own vegetables and spending time in nature. Each fall, he enjoyed canning his harvest and sharing the fruits of his labor with friends and neighbors. He especially loved salmon fishing—perfecting his smoking recipe and happily sharing his catch with those around him. In summer time, Tom also loved to spend time out on the lake with friends on his pontoon. When winter arrived, Tom eagerly awaited the first heavy snowfall so he could take out his snowmobile and enjoy long rides with friends.
Tom also loved a good party. Many of us fondly remember the bonfires he hosted down at his beach, gathering to enjoy laughter, good company, and the beautiful sunsets over the water.
Tom’s warm heart, friendly spirit, and active presence in our community will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences go out to Ruth and their family during this difficult time.

Rosary and funeral at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 207 Nichols St. in East Jordan on Wednesday, October 29. Rosary at 11:30 am. Funeral mass at 12:00 noon followed by luncheon in the church hall. Tom's family and friends will gather for a brief visitation at the church prior to the Rosary.
