WHAT TO BRING:
Bring household trash and unwanted items for disposal.
Please note the following items will NOT be accepted:
- Items containing freon (without a certificate of removal)
- Gas, oil, or anti-freeze
- Engine or mechanical parts containing gas, oil, or anti-freeze fluid
- Batteries
- Tires
- Yard waste, lawn clippings, tree branches, or brush
- Combustible items
- Electronics, computers, printers, TVs, VCRs, radios, telephones, microwave ovens, appliances, or game systems
Household Hazardous Waste (HHW) recycling is handled separately through the Charlevoix County Recycling Program. For HHW, contact Charlevoix County Recycling at 231-547-0080 or visit charlevoixcounty.org/recycling to schedule a drop-off time.
